WELCOME AGAIN TO

LEXIE ON EARTH AND MERKABA COLLECTION

I've spent over 5 years covering the East Coast of Australia whilst living the van-life lifestyle. This has allowed me to explore so many gorgeous locations and live closer to nature. It's an integral part of my life as I've always loved being outdoors. It gives me a sense and understanding that I'm part of the bigger picture.

My name is Lexie (obvious, yes) and I'm a free-spirited chick from North QLD in Aus. I've spent the past 10+ years travelling to incredible corners of planet Earth, collecting beautiful imagery along the way.

I picked up a camera for the first time in art class about 15 years ago. Technology has progressed rapidly since then so you'll notice a progression in my photography too.

Finch Hatton Gorge Mackay

The first country I visited outside Australia was South Africa when I was 17 years old, only carrying a simple digital camera. Witnessing some of the fascinating ways that people live and experiencing my first proper wildlife encounters really put me on my path with where I chose to travel in the future. I've been lucky enough to visit such places as South America, Borneo/Sumatra, the Cook Islands (and more). I was also a travel agent for about 3 years and this helped me broaden my knowledge of the world and encouraged my lust for travel even more.

500 Year Old Cathedral Fig Tree Far North Queensland

I knew from a very young age that I was creative and artistic and nearly 10 years ago I began a hobby that I had no idea would become my full-time 'job' and passion. I started to play around with jewellery-making and in the beginning, they were very simple. But as the passion grew over time, I found myself macramé-wrapping crystals.

My understanding of the craft has improved which means that I'm able to create elaborate and elegant designs. Over the past year or so, this has grown into something that has been able to sustain my lifestyle which I'm so grateful for. I'm so happy people are loving my art and I can't wait for it to reach more of you.
