Emerald Cascades

Plitvice Lakes, Croatia.. nothing short of a fairytale. Another one of those places that you can't thank nature enough for doing her thing. She's the true artist. She knows that glistening aqua looks perfect when it's flowing between lush greenery and pink wildflowers. We had camped out down the road and woke super early to wander around the cascades without the huge crowds. That's always the trick when it comes to travel and it was totally worth it. Seeing the sun rising over the canyon, slowly lighting up the brilliant water was unbelievable. This image evokes an essence of enchantment
